...Do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to perservere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.
Hebrews 10:35-36

Saw this and thought of you and your precious family Mallory.  I pray God continues to heal you and lift up your dear family. May God give you strength to perservere. Thank God for what He continues to do in your body and through your life!

Mallory, your plight reminds me of The David and Goliath story. King Saul said Goliath was too big to fight, little David picked up his stones and said Goliath was too big to miss. We know the end of that story. Your lung bugs seem too formidable to fight, your Dr"s know they can"t miss with the help of God. Fight your giants little Mal. We know the power of God is with you. Sleep well tonight.

I"m a friend that has met Mallory at Thursday night Bible study and I have read what Mal has been going through the past 4 or so weeks. I have my own medical issues but nothing compared to what Mal has and is going through. She is definitely a fighter and I can"t imagine the strength it takes to stay at her side each and every day. I am sure she is thankful for such strong parents, doctors, nurses and friends that continue to pray for her and them. I pray for everyone involved to have the strength and wisdom for Mal to get better sooner that later! I"ve had my weeks in ICU and in the hospital but hearing her story makes me want to fight harder when I get sick. I can"t wait to tell her when she returns to Bible study what a great fighter and influence she is on those around her. She"s influenced someone she"s only met a handful of times. I hope and pray she gets better soon! Sincerely, Josue

I have never met your family, but I heard of Mallory"s plight through a friends and have been following her story. I can"t imagine what you all are going through and I am truly amazed at your optimism and ability to keep your heads up. I used to be an ICU nurse at a large hospital and have seen many families in your position... but none of them had your tremendous ability to hope, love, care and keep fighting. Blessings to all of you.

Mallory has some amazing doctors working on here there at Emory. I remember when she was about to transfer to Emory. She told me she was scared to leave Egleston and the doctors there. I told her that Emory was just like Egleston, just for adults but that the doctors there would take just as good care of her. I see that I am right. I have never met Dr. Ram but Mal has raved about him and told me the things about him.

Mallory has God, Dr. Ram, other wonderful doctors and nurses, and her family fighting with her so I have no doubt that she will be ok. Mallory is a very strong and stubborn women.

Me and my family are all pulling for Mallory to get through this. She just to!

Please God let this med get into her lungs and heal them. Watch over her and heal her with your awesome power.

WE LOVE YOU MALLORY SMITH!

Mallory and family, since prayers have already gone up for this new medicine to work, I"m going to thank God that it already has-and that these wonderful prayers have been answered. Hang tough, fight that giant-remember when a giant stands before God, he falls, just like Goliath did! And David was just a teenaged shepherd boy. Jesus is the same today, yesterday and forever. Praying for you and your family.

Thank God for the doctors that are willing to try anything and everything to get Mallory better. From the very beginning Mallory has been a special patient who always reacts differently and gets the doctors thinking outside the box.  This may also be a treatment that saves someone else in the future. Mallory is a fighter and with the help of God, her doctors, her family, and her thousands of friends she can beat this and be, once again, the exception to every rule.

We are praying for her lungs to heal and that this medicine kicks that bug to the curb.
