Mallory,

I just had to tell you this!  Makenzie HAD to wear her TEAM MAL shirt to church on Sunday.  She took Madison and Jasmine and they went up to the Preacher, told them your story and asked them to pray for you.  SO, they huddled up and had a special prayer for you on Sunday.  When you are all better and at home...we have to bring them to spend a day with MAL.  You truely have your own LITTLE DIVA FAN CLUB!  They love them some MALLORY!  I know you will love reading about this in the very near future!

Love, Angela

Good Morning, Smith Family!

I miss seeing you all in the ICU hall!  We lost our battle with Santa David last Sunday and the funeral was yesterday.  We know he is in a better place and will have a Christmas like no other this year!  But we miss our friends from EUH and I continue to pray for you and others still there.  I keep following Mallory through this awesome site and will continue to.  Please give my love to the brothers and Joe and the Grandparents.  Thank you for your prayers and encouragement.  The last 3 months living in that hall changed our lives forever.
I am praying to our Lord Who called Lazarus from the dead, Who gave sight to the blind, Who made the lame to leap to touch Mallory"s body, each weak organ, and restore her health.  You have our love and prayers!

Good Morning Smith Family, I just read the note from a stranger named Billy this is interesting to me that Mallory"s grandfather is named Billy.  Tell Mallory her grandfather (in my heart) sent that message and he is pulling for her.  To Mallory"s, Dad that message you wrote made me cry remember God loves Mallory more than you do and boy from the sound of your message that"s a lot.  We don"t know why people have to suffer but I do know the hearts your family has touched and the faith you have and the love your family has spilled over to enrich God"s family here on earth.  I do pray God will strengthen you and give you hope and that Mallory will open those eyes soon.  God Bless

JoEllen

Hey there Mal,

I"ve never met you, but through the power of the internet I stumbled across this one way or another. Seeing what you"re going through is tough as a stranger and I can"t imagine what it"s like for you and your family, but I just wanted to send some good vibes your way and to let you know that your story is inspiring and I truly wish the best for you and your family. It sounds like you"ve got an incredible group of people there with you through this battle.

I"ll put an extra prayer in tonight for you and your family, and I wish you a speedy recovery! You have a beautiful smile!

Hey Mallory,

It"s been such a long time since we have hung out (back in middle school) when we used to have sleepovers and play with our american dolls. Lol! Unfortunatly we lost touch when we were seperated by going to diffrent highschools. I am so sad to read these posts and hate that you are going through so much pain. The worst things always happen to the sweetest people who do not deserve it! Reading your dads recent post just brought me to tears and I have since prayed for you everyday! Being a young mom myself I can"t even imagine being in this situation. I know you are such a strong and beautiful girl and you have a family that obviously loves you to the end of the world and back. Keep fighting and I will keep praying! WHEN you get better maybe we can get together and catch up on the lost years!

Also I just want to mention that in an earlier post you said something in the ways of (that everything happens for a reason and that God always has a plan). Just take a look at your facebook and all the posts on this site. Your story has touched so many people and personally has made me pray for the first time in a very long time. Hearing your faith in God in such a trying time is amazing to me. I wish I had your spirit!

All my love and God bless--- Samantha Wilson & Jack

Hi Smiths!

MFM!!!!!!!!!!

Still praying, still hoping, still waiting.  No doubt in my mind that God is going to work this out for you guys.  Mike, I am a daddy"s girl and I know that bond is something that"s not understandable by those that don"t have it, that being said I can"t image how you feel I know my dad would be torn up but there is hope and as hard as it is to stand by and wait and watch GOD move it is the only thing to do.  Hang in there guys!

Mallory, your parents are awesome!! (But I am sure you already know that) Your story is amazing and I am sure that it is far from over.  Keep fighting kid, you have a nephew to meet as well as a long happy road ahead of you.

Mallory & Family, prayers are going up for all of you in Latta, SC and the surrounding area.  If I could have one prayer answered  right now, it would be for Mallory to recover.  Also, as Rhonda said, all she wanted for Christmas was a miracle for Mallory.  Again, if I could have anything for Christmas, that is what I would want also.  Please know you are in my thoughts and in my heart.  Donna Edwards

Hi Mallory :

Like everyone else who has written, I pray daily for you.  Every day now starts with going to your website to check on your condition and it"s the last thing I do before I go to bed at night.  You are reminding me to stop and be calm and thankful for all I have in my life.  It"s amazing how someone you haven"t seen in years can have such an impact on you.  I know you are going to be back to your smiling self very soon!

Love to you and your family,

Lisa McCoy
Hello Mallory and Smith Family,
My name is Lisa McCoy and my son, John Michael who is now 13 received a liver transplant on November 26, 2008.  We have been very blessed as you all have to still have him with us.  He suffered from sudden onset of acute liver failure...origin unknown.  He was transplanted 18 days from the onset of his illness and only 12 hours after he was placed on the transplant list.  God had His hand in this miracle.

I can somewhat relate to what you all are going through right now  and I know that putting our trust in God was what got us all through and it is why John Michael is with us today.  I have been praying for you all since Dominique Brunner posted it on her wall on Facebook (they are friends of our family too).  Keep the faith! We will be thinking of you!

Love,
 Lisa McCoy
