I am so glad that you seem to be turning the corner. You Mom and I talked quite a bit on Monday about the blood pressure medicine you were on - I too was put on a bp med and it messed me up - so I am so happy you gotten off of that!

We support you 100% with the decision with school - you have the responsibility of deciding what you can and can not do - there will always be time for school - just concentrate on getting yourself feeling good.

Glad to hear some good news!!  I think that you are definitely doing the right thing with quitting school for now.  I know that you want to have a normal life as possible, but maybe this is your "normal" for now.  Don"t beat yourself up about it.  You are not backing down from a challenge, you are simply postponing that particular one!!!  Take it easy and start back when you feel better.  School will always be there...

We all are so proud of you!  And, I"m not surprised you and your mom figured out that issue with that blood pressure medicine.  Ya"ll have always been proactive in your care.  You made a good decision to focus on your health. There is always time to go back when you feel more yourself and you can focus on those studies.

I"m sure Izzie is just a little stressed out right now and needs a few more weeks of rest and she will be ready to go.  Maybe a Spa day would be just what the doctor ordered? Where do livers go to relax?

Sorry its been awhile since I last posted you and your family have been on my mind and I wanted to check in on your progress. I pray for you everyday with hopes you are continuing good health.

Courtney is still awaitng a kidney transplant is currently on UNOS. We thought we had a match in May on Mothers Day we were at Emory awaiting the final cross match, which was unfortunately not a match. We are hoping and praying everyday for that call. We are still in remission  for her Wegeners which is good news, we recently had to have a new graph placed as the original graph failed we have had this on since 2002 which is alot longer than most.

Well I just wanted to say hello and will continue to pray for you everyday. Lisa congrats to Michael andAngela on he upcoming baby.

Mal, I am so glad your nymbers are down, and your doctor was able to lower your dosage of the prednesone. I know what a nightmare that stuff can be. You are in my thoughts and prayers daily.

You have been through so much and I know that you have days that it seems like it"s a little too hard to bare. But God saw potential in you. And you, well, you have held your head up high and looked only to "The One" who gave you the miracle with a smile on your face and a thankful heart. (And might I add the endurance of Job) It is such a blessing to know that you are a fruit of the vine of our family.

The answers will come in time. Sorry you have to go through all of this. Do we take a lot of pills after our transplant. This past year has been hard for me. I became diabetic from all the pills I take for the transplant, my kidney disease and everything that s goes along with it.
