Hi Mallory,

Checking in and finding that you are fighting one of those yucky viruses that seems to be going around.  I have had many friends complaining of the same issues this week.  I do think the rest and plenty of liquids will get you back on your feet by Monday.

All of you have had so much to celebrate this month.  I loved  reading all the updates full of  many expressions of love and pride for you Mallory. One of the sweet things I read is how on the threshold of leaving the night before your 18th birthday YOU were at peace. 

That is truly music to ears of the faithful.  To have peace in the storms of life is a special grace that many aren"t able to experience.  Those of us who know God"s word hold on to His promises that He"ll be with us during the storms.The bible story of Jesus standing outside the boat while the disciples were in the boat and the boat was on rough seas. This image was brought to my mind after reading about the peace you felt.  

As Jesus taught us in that story if we keep our eyes on Him we too could step out of the boat and walk to Him.  I feel you had your eyes on your source of peace Mallory.  May your walk continue with the Lord as you bless many with your testimony and unconditional love for others.
