Hi Mal,

I"m so pleased that you have finally turned a corner. Pray that you continue down this great road. I posted something for you on Tuesday but messed up the stamps because i put it on the wrong side of the package so had to re-write the address on the front side and my adress on the other side . I just hope they understand it and that it gets to you okay.

Take care sweetie!

Great news for Mallory!  Of course you look great, you always do. I think we need to start a new reality show called America"s Next Transplant Model and I"m sure no one will have your walk or your style.  Keep up the good work and eat some chocolate for those of us that don"t have your metabolism.

Alex, we are praying for you.  Get well soon!

Hi, Mallory.  I"ve just read your blog to catch up on what"s happening with you.  I have been praying for you and hope that the itching will go away for good and that everything settles down so you will feel better.  Your sweet mom has been sending Karen messages on her website--Karen really enjoys them.  She is still at Emory and waiting to hear the decision of the transplant committee, which met today.  Depending on where she is placed on the list, she will either go home to await transplant or stay in the hospital if she is at the top of the list.  We will hear from them tomorrow.  We have been here a week now and she is feeling better, but the fluid in her belly is making her really miserable.  We will continue to pray for you.  One thing I forgot to mention is that Dr. Heffron came by to see Karen a couple of days ago.  We just loved him.  He wants to do Karen"s surgery and we hope that it will work out so he can.  He is great!  Take care of yourself--we hope to meet you in person soon.

Sam

Hey Mallory,

You don"t know me and i don"t know you.

Bbut i felt touched by your story and feel connected to you because my dad is currently going through the same thing except he has cancer.  At times things get so rough and you feel like collapsing and he, just like you (from what i"ve read), is always smiling and joyful.  The pain i see him endure eats me up inside knowing theres nothing i can do to help him.  My dad"s going to be out of town for treatment away from the family for about 4 months starting next month.  It"ll be really hard for us.  But your site, which i came across somehow, has given me a push as to which attitude i should stick with.......the attitude of never giving up and knowing that g-d is watching over us.

My thought are with you,

All the Best.....Sam

keep us in your prayers please as well and i hope you recover fully

Sam

Good Morning Mallory:  I put an urgent note in for the man above to stop your itching so you should see unbelievable improvement this afternoon.

I think about you often and saw you at Children"s Health Care.  You are a brave and strong person and as long as you keep a positive attitude things will only get better.  Attitude is a very big part and I can say that as a Cancer Survivor!

So, keep smiling!

Love,

Mallory,

I have been keeping up with you...reading your journal and keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers! I am so glad you are back home! You are an INCREDIBLE young lady. Things over here at the KMHS clinic have been really busy...we have had so much of the flu and "other bugs". I am ready for spring. Farid came by the clinic the other day and we "talked" about you. (Yes...he was goofing off.) Please know that you are loved and prayed for!

Yeah!  Home at last.  I know you were sooo bored at the hospital and ready to go home.

We had a big Chili contest and fundraiser last week here at the bank for Children"s Healthcare and raised almost $5,000. Everyone was thinking of you and saying what a great cause it is because they are the folks that take care of Mallory!

Play plenty of Guitar hero and you will be feeling better in no time.
