Hi, Mallory,

Just wanted to let you know that we are continuing to pray for you.  I"m glad that you are getting better.  I hope that you can get out and enjoy this nice spring weather--that should make you feel even better!!  

Karen has an appointment with Dr. Spivey (liver specialist at Emory) tomorrow.  She has been miserable with fluid and nausea.  You take good care of yourself--I"m checking in on you daily.

I"m so pleased that you have finally turned a corner. Pray that you continue down this great road. I posted something for you on Tuesday but messed up the stamps because i put it on the wrong side of the package so had to re-write the address on the front side and my adress on the other side . I just hope they understand it and that it gets to you okay.

I"m Melissa"a sister-in-law Karen that had the heart/dbl lung transplant and now will be listed for a kidney and liver soon. I"m glad you are home and I loved the card you made me. oh, I forgot to tell you.  I finally saved the princess on Super Mario Bros.  We talked about the game when you were in the hospital back in December & it took that long for me to finally figure out how to save her!  If you need any pointers, let me know! :)

You don"t know me and i don"t know you. 

Bbut i felt touched by your story and feel connected to you because my dad is currently going through the same thing except he has cancer.  At times things get so rough and you feel like collapsing and he, just like you (from what i"ve read), is always smiling and joyful.  The pain i see him endure eats me up inside knowing theres nothing i can do to help him.  My dad"s going to be out of town for treatment away from the family for about 4 months starting next month.  It"ll be really hard for us.  But your site, which i came across somehow, has given me a push as to which attitude i should stick with.......the attitude of never giving up and knowing that g-d is watching over us.

I think about you often and saw you at Children"s Health Care.  You are a brave and strong person and as long as you keep a positive attitude things will only get better.  Attitude is a very big part and I can say that as a Cancer Survivor!

Sorry to hear the itching is back. Prayers that labs are down tommorrow and the itching goes away and stays away. I know how frustrating it is as i was itching all day throughout lectures. I think the other students are thinking i have fleas or something. On something is on its way to you which i hope will cheer you up a  bit.

I have been keeping up with you...reading your journal and keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers! I am so glad you are back home! You are an INCREDIBLE young lady. Things over here at the KMHS clinic have been really busy...we have had so much of the flu and "other bugs". I am ready for spring. Farid came by the clinic the other day and we "talked" about you. (Yes...he was goofing off.) Please know that you are loved and prayed for!

We had a big Chili contest and fundraiser last week here at the bank for Children"s Healthcare and raised almost $5,000. Everyone was thinking of you and saying what a great cause it is because they are the folks that take care of Mallory!

Play plenty of Guitar hero and you will be feeling better in no time.
