Hi Mallory,

It is great to read Mom"s journal and know that you are enjoying being home!! I will be praying for your feeds and sleep to improve for you.  It has been such a blessing to read all the beautiful messages you receive from your family and friends.

I am one of those Prayer Warriors you"ve never met but lift you up daily for God"s Blessings.  Katherine"s Mom ask those of us who were praying for KJ to add you to our prayer list and I did months ago!!!

Your courageous spirit touches all of us who know or get to know you through Mom"s journal. Keep pushing forward and PLEASE work hard to reach the doctor"s weight gain goal s!!

Praying for a warm blanket of prayers to surround you tonight and give you a night of peaceful dreams.  Thanking Jesus along with Mom for all the battles you have already won and asking His favor for the ones you ahve now.  Blessings from Powder Springs,

Diane Ellerbee

Hey Mallory,

I am so glad that you are now home.  There is no place like home, no place like home!  :)  I knew you would get there.  You are too strong of a fighter, and God is too big.  Target is where I took all of my day trips too.  I love Target!!  They have great clearance stuff too.  I remember buying DVD"s there to play in my laptop while I was at the Mason House.  In fact, Target is where I first started walking by myself.  There are fond memories of Target for the both of us!  :)  I do not know who Destin is, but I live 10 minutes from Ft. Benning.  I wish him the best.  Ft. Benning is so huge!  I have friends that live there.  Well, I have to get back to my studies....finals are next week!  Soon you will be saying that too!!!  See ya!!

It must feel so good to finally be home.  The darned feeding tube will eventually come out.  Just keep trying to eat.  I know it"s easier said than done.  Jen took awhile to eat enough on her own after both transplants.  You will get there.  We are keeping you in our prayers.

Mallory!!

I am sooo glad to hear you are home and life is gradually getting back to normal for you and your family! It is my routine every night right before I go to bed to check and see how you are doing! I will continue to pray for you every day. I am so excited to see the plan God has for your life. He is fulfilling His purpose through and in you everyday. The impact you have had on not only people you know, but also people you may never meet....is AMAZING! I can not wait to see how God will continue to use you and your miracle story to bring Him glory. Thank you for having the strength and faith to trust your way through this obstacle because it shows all of us what trusting God truly means.

Ephesians 3:20: "Now glory be to God! By his mighty power at work within us, he is able to accomplish infinitely more than we would ever dare to ask or hope."

Love,

Hi Mal and Lisa,

I am so thankful that you are doing better and able to stay home. We were a little worried Monday that you might be admitted and were so thankful you were not. We do miss having you there but are so glad at the same time that you are not.

I don"t know if you are up to going to a Christmas program or not but my church choir is doing our Christmas Festival this Sat. and Sun. nights at 6pm and it is going to be awesome!!! I am in the choir so it would be great to see you if you can. I attend First Baptist Church Woodstock. It is a large church and the program is going to be very amazing- singing, dancing, drama, art- all kinds of things. Give me a call if you think you could come and I"ll tell you how to get there. 770-693-8723(H) 770-500-0429(C)

Target!!!  A girl after my own heart.  That was the first store I went into after my heart transplant.  My husband pushed me around in a wheelchair because I was so weak.  But now, I can spend some serious money in that place all by myself!!!!

Praying for your continued recovery.  Enjoy your Christmas and make sure you keep your receipts from Target.  They have a new return policy.  Told you I spend some money there!  I bet you will too!

It"s so nice to hear about you guys doing regular life type stuff.  I personally hate going to the grocery store, but after not going for so long I think it would feel good to be out and about.  Mal, great news about the one pound.  I would love to "loan" you a few more!

Sounds like all the numbers were good yesterday and only good news to report.  Fantastic job Smith family in getting your sweet princess home and on the road to recovery.

Your Christmas wishes are already coming true.

Love You All

Dear Mallory & Lisa,

I am so glad to see you are home.  I enjoyed the dance your doctor did and while watching it I thought of how much joy and togetherness your family has brought to others through your trials.  You truly are an amazing couple of girls and God has used your trials to give strength and encouragment to others.  Hang in there the best is yet to be.
