My sister, Vicki Carlton posted your page asking for prayers. I opened the link and spent an hour reading your journals. I cannot imagine what your family is even going through as you have traveled through this difficult journey, but I can tell you that God has definitely been watching over you all. I will be putting Mallory on my prayer list at church and will start praying for her and your family. Mallory sounds like she is one strong young lady! I do not know her, but I can see that she is one special girl who has touched many lives and is very loved. Just know, she will have more prayers coming her way from Augusta, GA. Take care and stay strong!

Hi Mallory and family,

I found out about you through Lauren Crouch.  My heart goes out to you.  I lost my baby girl two months ago at six days old due to complications from Wolf Hirschhorn syndrome. Since having my daughter, I have a special burden for people suffering from genetic diseases. I am so touched by your story, and I will be praying for you all.

Dana

Good Morning Mal,

I hope you will get a chance to read all of these wonderful messages of courage that so many people has sent - I have spead the word and told them what an amazing young lady you are and how your faith in God is so strong!  You are a true inspiration to all of this - just keep fighting and getting better.

I know you are getting frustrated with the feeding tube and breathing tubes but they are there to help you get better - just listen to your sweet Mama"s voice as she tells you "everything will be OK" - right now this is the best for you and I am so sorry you had a bad night last night - with all you have been through you need some peace in your life.

I got to spend some quality time with Joe the other night when I picked him up at the airport and I can tell you that you have a keeper - he is a wonderful young man who loves you will all his heart - so keep getting better so you can have a wonderful life with him.

I love you like I do my own children and pray for you several times a day!!

Love you!

Dana

Hey Mallory, here"s a little quote that made me think of you:

"Today I woke up. Therefore, even if nothing else happens, it is a good day because I"ve experienced grace."

I hate that you"re so sick, and your days aren"t always perfect and easy, but I know that you, better than any other person in the world, can see the best out of the crummiest situations. You are a miracle and a blessing. Hang in there for me. I"m coming to see you soon! Love you!

Mallory- I hate that you are having to go through all of this!! Every time I think of you it makes me smile with all of the silly memories I have of you from high school (one of which involves a silly creation in art class of a skiing bunny or some such creature that always comes to mind when I think of you). You have always been a wonderful and incredibly sweet person that is so much braver than I can even imagine being. I am praying for you and your family and just wish I had known you were back in the hospital sooner. God bless you pretty girl!
