Dear Mallory,

Your friend Dana Wigley and I went thru HS together, so we have known each other a looong time. I have never seen her so smitten with anyone, other than her boys, than she has been with you. Please know that I am praying for your illness to ease up and that you and your boyfriend and family can celebrate Christmas together in victory over this setback. I know that God is there with all of you, even in the hospital. He will carry all of you thru this.

Dear Lisa and Mal,

So sorry to hear that you are sick.  I have been following along each day on your progress and praying that God does a complete and total healing!  Mallory, you"ve got to hurry up and get out of there before Santa comes, you know!! I know he has some very special things for such a precious young lady!! We are praying that you will begin to feel better and be back to your old self very soon.

Kaden says hello.  He is doing good and getting so big!  Like you, he is very special!  God only chooses the special ones to endure the battles that the two of you, and so many others, must face.  The great thing is that He is with you all every step of the way!!  Kaden is 5 yrs old and loves to talk about Jesus and God.  He has even made up 2 songs about them!

You hang in there girl!! We will continue to lift you all up in prayer! Wish we could see you, but know that we are with you in spirit!! Love you all!

Merry Christmas!

The Maxwell and Vaughn Families

I am so thankful to hear that you have been doing a little bit better today. I am praying that you will continue to feel better, and that I am able to see you as soon as you are a little stronger.

Lisa,

I can"t imagine what you are going through on a daily basis, but Mallory is so lucky to always have you by her side. I know it must so hard on you. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to make it a little easier on you. As you know I live in Atlanta, and I am quite close to Emory, so please let me know if I can bring you anything at all. I have lost your number, but mine is 770.314.1529. I am praying for all of you.

Claire Sparks

Hey Mal, it"s Claire. I love you so much, and I just wanted you to remind you...even though you already know...of how big and mighty our God is. Mal, He is inside and outside of you and working so vigorously in and through you to only bring Himself more fame and glory. One thing I learned through my brother"s injury and hospitilization is that even though our circumstances on the outside go crazy, God stays the same. And by dwelling on His goodness, His love for you, and His sovereignty, so much peace is found in Him. I wanted to share with you a passage that He allowed me to read today. It"s Isaiah 43:1-7:

"But now, thus says the LORD, who created you, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel: "Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned. Nor shall the flame scorch you. For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I gave Egypt for your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba in your place. Since you were precious in My sight, you have been honored, and I have loved you; therefore I will give men for you, and people for your life. Fear not, for I am with you; I will bring your descendants from the east, and gather you from the west; I will say to the north, "Give them up!" and to the south, "Do not keep them back!" Bring My sons from afar, and My daughters from the ends of the earth- Everyone who is called by My name, whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him.""

Mal, I don"t think it is any mistake that God showed me this passage today =) I love you so much and will be praying hourly.

Your"s truly :)

Claire
