Kathy Chupp

Hi Mallory,

I have been following your story for a couple of years now and continue to have you in my thoughts and prayers. I"m so glad to hear how well you have been feeling and that you will be starting to school in a couple of weeks. Our lives seem to have cross paths several times and I was surprised when reading your latest journal update about your friend Amanda. Would that happen to be Amanda McCleland? We live in Roswell and have known that family for many years...in fact, my son Roger, dated Amanda for several months before she moved to South Carolina. We knew she was on the transplant list again and I am glad to hear that she did have another transplant...how is she doing? Jude is very cute & I know that he brings you much joy. Always remember that you are constantly surrounded by the prayers & good wishes of so many people.

Take care, Kathy Chupp

Ralph & Juanita

Hi Mallory, So glad you posted!  We check everydayI think Jude is adorable, I have never seen a dog with such beautiful blue eyes before!I know he is a lot of company for you!  I"ll bet Munchkin is jealous of him! LOL

Golly I feel so sorry for you, I have had a kidney stone before and Ralph has them all the time! There is just no other pain like it!  I have seen Ralph rolling on the floor! He has two now,but thank goodness they haven"t moved, they have dropped down into the bladder.

We were so glad the news on your kidneys was good! Just keep drink anything, but preferably water, as the kidneys don"t have to filter it!

It seems like such a long time since we have seen you!  I hope someday soon we will be able to see you again! We always keep in touch with everything through Kitty & Bobby, but that is not the same as seeing you face to face! They sure are busy trying to get the house in good shape!  With the high gas prices we can"t travel as much as we would like to! Maybe you will keep getting stronger and you will be able to come to Destin"s wedding and we will all see each other again! We enjoyed the last show you did for the hospital! May God continue to Bless You and Your"s every day!

Mal:

What a great site you have. Just read your story and looked at all your photo"s. I had a Liver Transplant in 2005, due to the fact that I had a rare disease.

I belong to a support group at the hospital where I had my transplant. Three of my best friends (my second family) had Wilsons Disease. One of my frinds, Jessica Chipkin  set up the Wilsons Group on Transplantcafe.com that you just joined.

It is great talking to other liver transplant recipients and reading about their stories. Have a great day.

Mal:

Welcome home again from the hospital and greetings from Buckhead where I work for Georgian Bank.

I hope you had a great 4th --- my wife, Sally, and I just returned from a wonderful trip to California with 7 other couples.  We were in Carmel and it was beautiful --- the weather over the weekend had highs of 68 - 70 degrees and lows in the 50"s with very low humidity --- a lot different from Georgia!

On our flight home Monday, I started to think about football season and my beloved UGA Bulldogs - if I remember correctly from a prior email, aren"t you a Bulldog, too?

Good morning, Mallory!  My name is Brooke Baldasare and I work at Georgian Bank.  A very sweet email reached me this morning and told me the story of you!  I looked through your adorable pictures with all of your friends and I was truly touched.  I don"t know you, but you have so many people who know and love you, so I know without a doubt that you are an awesome individual who loves dearly and is dearly loved by all who know you!  You absolutely glow in your pictures, Mallory, and I know that God is using you every day for His great plan for your life!  None of us are here by accident and you are certainly here for a major purpose, which is so evident in the faces of your friends and family that YOU have touched.  I want you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.  Many people say that, but I am going to keep your email in my Inbox so that I can start off every day praying for you, Mallory!  May God bless you like is always does, may He give you His super-natural strength during the difficult times and may you ALWAYS know how YOU are a wonderfully unique individual who is going wonderful places and is dearly loved by the Jesus Christ and anyone who has been blessed enough to meet you (or hear your story)!  God will always bless you and never leave you, Mallory.  With love, admiration for you and of course, huge hugs, Brooke Baldasare :)

Hey Mallory,

I don"t know you, but I work at Georgian Bank in Cumberland. I wanted to ask if you happen to know my husband Ryan Herrier? He went to Kennesaw Mountain High too. You probably do, he was a wild one. We got married in January and had a baby girl on March 29, 08. Her name is Ansley Hayden Herrier. She weighed 8lbs 1oz talk about big baby. My whole pregnancy I had to give myself two shots in the stomach daily because I had a blood clot. Gosh it sucked so bad. I know it is nothing compared to what your going through. I"m very sorry. I will keep you in my prayers daily. Anyways if you want to have another pen pal, I"m more than happy to write.Hope to talk to you soon.

How is my favorite two-time transplant patient?  I hope that you are continuing to do better.  I just completed my college degree last week.  It was both an honor and a privilege to see one of my dreams actually come true!  I know that you will eventually finish your education and be the best transplant nurse Egelston has ever seen.  My husband and I will continue to pray for your good health.  Hang in there!
