Hi Mallory

So sad to hear the hospital was on the agenda this week.  Knowing what I have read you are a trooper and will come through this fine.  Your last couple of weeks prove that fun can be just around the bend.  Keep the past weeks in mind to brighten your day.

God"s love and comfort are always at your reach.

Hi girls, hello from Vanderbilt Children"s Hospital, Nashville, TN!  Kaye is feeling better tonight and her counts has begun to rise little by little.  Needless to say, when I checked your site I was dissappointed to hear you were back in the hospital but I am so happy you are feeling better.  I guess you girls just need a "beauty tune up".  Hoping tomorrow will host even better news.  Good night!

Hi Mallory & Lisa,

I"m sorry to hear that you were admitted. I know how you feel with Mom or someone reminding you to eat and drink...but It"s natural for them, they can"t help themselves. My mom, dad and husband still do the same thing to me. I need to gain weight and drink alot also. I"m on the list  for a liver and kidney.  I had my heart/dbl lung last year, so believe me when I say it"s they will still keep telling you!  Anyway, I hope you feel better and get out very soon. Make it a short stay. I still have your card and bracelet. I will get it in the mail.     xoxo  Karen A.

Yes, Mom you did know best!!  Headaches come many times from dehydration but our young adults just get so tired of us Mom"s telling them to drink less caffeinated drinks, etc.

One week I decided to give up drinking Diet Cokes and in their place I was drinking ice tea.  After two days of ice tea and more ice tea I came down with an unrinary tract infection and my sweet husband had warned me to stop drinking so much tea!

I tend to be stubborn and hardheaded and have switched back to the water routine and I am feeling very hydrated!!!  Keep being the persistent Mom you are and know that many of us are lifting you in prayer too!!

Prayers for Mallory to get her numbers balanced again and back home soon!! She"s a beautiful girl and is truly blessed with all her family and friends! Yes, Team Katherine is praying fervently for her to get back home soon too!!! Blessings from Powder Springs, DE

Mallory,

We are so glad to hear how good you are doing!!!  I know you will love it at KSU.   Sounds like you are taking a full load, atta girl...  Are you still planning to study something in the medical field because you would be awesome there or anywhere really.  If you are looking for a good guitar teacher, my son Kevin has been taking with Joe at Ponier for about a year now and loves him.  He is so funny, laid back, and teaches the students any song they want to learn.  It"s been a fun adventure.  We need to try to get together before everyone starts back to school!  Love and Miss U,

Mallory,

I am soooo happy for you.  I know that this has been a long recovery and I am so proud that you have been so strong during this past year.  It has been amazing to see how much you have improved from week to week over this past year.  I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to witness your  journey.  Give your parents a big hug and a kiss!!!  I have never met such wonderful and dedicated parents.  I am going to miss seeing you for our weekly visits, but have great comfort in knowing that this passage in your life is finally coming to an end.  I have no doubt that God has great things in store for you and that you will continue to astound us!  Have a great summer.  YOU DESERVE IT!!!

Mal & Lisa,

I am sooo excited that you may be able to get the PIC line out.  It will be so wonderful to be free again!!!  I am so thankful that you are doing so great.  I knew that it was only a matter of time.  Its going to be a great summer for your family.  I just love hearing about all you are doing-- Our family also continues to check on you daily and you are always in our prayers.

I wanted to let you know that in May I spoke with a local MOPS (moms of preschoolers) group at our church. I shared how important it was to lay the right kind of foundation for our children so that when the storms of life come they can draw from this foundation.  At the end I read to them a portion of your journal entry when Alex went home to be with our Lord.  At such a difficult time your faith was so strong, I know that it ministered to me and to many others.

I hope to get to meet you soon. Maybe next time I"m in Atlanta. We would love to see the new Transplant Unit.

Jeannie Fuller
